Dongfeng boss named

CHINA'S third-largest auto group Dongfeng Motor announced Liu Weidong replaced Li Shaozhu as the general manager of its passenger car affiliate on July 4.
Liu, who earlier served as general manager of Dongfeng's passenger car venture with PSA Peugeot Citroen, has played a major role in the business growth of the joint venture and helped its business restructure in his eight-year tenure.
The appointment of Liu is widely regarded as Dongfeng's efforts to gear up the development of its own brands including Dongfeng Fengshen and Dongfeng Xiaokang.
