Toyota eyes welfare

TOYOTA Motor brought five Aplhard and Hiace welcabs to Beijing and Shanghai last week for public usage, which is part of its plan to explore the business of welfare vehicles in China, where cars specially equipped for the disabled, the elderly and nursing-care providers are still in scarcity though 13 percent of its population are aged over 60, and more than 83 million people are physically disadvantaged.
