VW sales increase
SHANGHAI Volkswagen reported its June sales gained 6.6 percent year on year to 88,564 units, according to a statement.
Its first-half sales totalled 526,960 units, an increase of 18 percent year on year. The growth outpaced the industrial average of 5.7 percent.
Deliveries of VW-branded vehicles including Santana, Lavida and Polo were boosted by 18 percent year on year to 428,044 units while sales of its Skoda brands gained 19 percent to 98,916 units.
