Boosting food sales
SHANGHAI Totole Food said it aims to quadruple sales to 10 billion yuan (US$1.5 billion) by 2015 via boosting output capacity and opening new marketing channels to tap domestic demand for culinary products.
Totole, majority owned by Nestle SA, has an annual capacity of 130,000 tons for granulated chicken bouillon in its two plants in Shanghai and will boost it to 180,000 tons based on market conditions, said Rong Yaozhong, founder and general manager of Totole.
The firm is also testing alternative marketing channels to make its brand better known among customers, Rong added.
