BRITISH retailer Marks & Spencer Group Plc said yesterday that it has picked Morrisons supermarket CEO Marc Bolland to take over as its new chief executive next year. Bolland will succeed Stuart Rose, who will continue to serve as chairman of the food and clothing retailer. Rose has said he will leave the company by July 2011. Bolland, 50, joined Wm Morrison Supermarkets Plc as chief executive three years ago. Previously he worked at Heineken NV.
