Casinos pay taxes

CASINOS in Macau paid 12.31 billion patacas (US$1.56 billion) in direct gaming taxes to the Special Administrative Region government in the first four months this year, down 15.7 percent compared with the same period last year, according to the figures released yesterday by its Finance Services Bureau.
