BABY nutrition producer Danone yesterday said it has no plan to increase the price of its Dumex baby formula in China despite rising raw materials.
"China is a extremely competitive market," said Philip Pratt, vice president for quality and public affairs at Danone Baby Nutrition. A slew of foreign baby formula producers, including Mead Johnson, Wyeth and Abbott, have been selling products at higher prices in China.
