High sales goal

JAPAN'S JS Group Co, the parent of American Standard, INAX and Tostem, aims to boost its Chinese business by 10-fold to 50 billion yen (US$550 million) in 2013, from 4.6 billion yen in 2009.

For this year, the company targets sales of 10 billion yen. To achieve the goals, the group will focus on expanding the presence of American Standard to inland cities and accelerate cooperation with local firms.

JS Group, which provides building materials, housing facilities and retailing business, achieved sales of 982.6 billion yen in the year ended March.
