US wins dispute over Chinese duties on chicken products

The United States won a dispute against China at the World Trade Organization yesterday, when a panel of adjudicators found China had broken WTO rules on 16 of 21 counts in the US complaint.
The US complaint concerned China’s duties on US chicken broiler products. The US told the World Trade Organization that it was the largest exporter of broiler products to China before duties were imposed, but exports then fell by nearly 90 percent.
