Xiao Nan Guo Group Restaurant group expands
XIAO Nan Guo Group, which owns brands including Xiao Nan Guo, Honeymoon Dessert and Noodle Plus, will expand into luxury hotels and ceremony venues.
After successful operating its Shanghai-style cuisine restaurant chain and spa chain, the group now offers premier locations for weddings, parties, conferences and other ceremonies.
Xiao Nan Guo has changed from traditional restaurant management - from just serving food to catering to functions.
Meanwhile, the group has been building a luxury hotel in Shanghai's Yangpu District to expand in the leisure industry.
Starting with the four-table Xiao Nan Guo restaurant in 1987, the group now has more than 30 Xiao Nan Guo restaurants, including outlets in Tokyo and Hong Kong. Its annual sales has grown close to 1 billion yuan (US$146 million).
