Duties imposed on 2 chemicals
CHINA will impose anti-dumping duties on ethylene glycol monobutyl ether and diethylene glycol monobutyl ether imported from the US and the European Union for five years starting today, a government statement said.
The Ministry of Commerce ruled that anti-dumping practices exist in the two chemicals imported from the US and EU, it said in the statement on Friday. Chinese importers of the products from the two countries will have to pay duties ranging from 9.3 percent to 18.8 percent, it said.
