THE value of Hong Kong's total goods exports and imports fell sharply by 12.8 percent and 17 percent respectively in December year on year, the Census and Statistics Department said yesterday.
Comparing last year with 2007, the volume of total goods exports grew 2.9 percent while that of goods imports rose 2.6 percent. The volume of re-exports rose 4 percent while that of domestic exports slumped 22 percent.
