MORE than half of the employers on the Chinese mainland will hire in the fourth quarter, as a Hudson Shanghai report yesterday showed they are again the most confident in the Asia-Pacific region.
About 53.5 percent of the employers surveyed said they will increase their work force in the October-December period, although this was down 2.6 percent from the third quarter. Overall, consumer product companies have the strongest hiring intentions.
