THE United Arab Emirates' economy minister yesterday voiced confidence in its future in spite of investors' worries about Dubai's crushing debt load.
Sultan Al Mansouri said the country's economy was "built on a solid foundation able to withstand crisis and challenges, no matter how difficult."
Dubai World, the conglomerate behind some of Dubai's most high-profile investments, is looking to restructure US$26 billion of its US$60 billion in debts.
