CHINA will continue to implement a "moderately loose" monetary policy to maintain stable and fast economic growth as its primary goal, the central bank said, underscoring its existing stance.
The government will also pursue "steady and reasonable" loan growth, the People's Bank of China said in a statement yesterday. Domestic banks have been asked to increase financial support to key infrastructure, energy-saving and ecological projects, said the statement. The central bank will continue to push financial products and services for rural areas and aid small to medium-size enterprises.
