PBOC optimistic

CHINA would manage to make a breakthrough in yuan-based cross-border payment system this year, the People's Bank of China, or the central bank, said in an online report.

China would further develop regional and international cooperation in payments, and improve the yuan-based cross-border trade settlements this year.
