THE UK plans to make land available to developers to build as many as 100,000 homes to help address a widening shortfall. Each government department with "significant" plots of land will publish plans to release thousands of acres to homebuilders by the third quarter.
The UK faces a shortfall of about 1 million homes within four years, with London the worst affected area, according to Savills Plc.
