Anti-dumping review
CHINA’S Ministry of Commerce decided yesterday to review anti-dumping measures it imposed on solar-grade polysilicon imports from South Korea.
The move was in response to domestic producers’ application for a re-examination of the duties, claiming South Korean firms have increased dumping activities on the Chinese market, according to a statement on the ministry’s website. The review will cover the period from January 1, 2015, to December 31, 2015. China slapped five-year duties on polysilicon imports from the US and South Korea in 2014. The rates for imports from South Korea are set between 2.4 percent and 48.7 percent.
