CHINA is asking domestic rare earth producers to submit applications for environmental review before August 1 to make the sector environmentally sustainable.
Companies that don't submit applications or fail to pass the reviews won't gain environmental assessment approval for new or expansion projects as well as stock market listing, the Ministry of Environmental Protection said in a statement on its website.
