CHINA Minmetals Corp yesterday said it has succeeded in the acquisition of Anvil Mining Ltd, a Canadian copper producer with assets in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Minmetals Resources, a subsidiary of China Minmetals, said in a statement to the Hong Kong stock exchange that the company has acquired more than 90 percent of Anvil Mining's shares at a price of C$8 (US$8.03) per share.
