Natural gas pipeline
CHINA'S National Energy Administration has approved the construction of the Chinese section of a second natural gas pipeline that will run through China and Kazakhstan.
The 110-kilometer pipeline, with 25 kilometers in China, is expected to bring natural gas from the Kazakh region of Zaysan to Jeminay County in the Altay Prefecture of northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.
Kazakhstan approved construction of the pipeline on April 6.
