Nuke power deals rise

SHANGHAI-LISTED nuclear power giant China Nuclear E&C Group said yesterday that it sealed contracts worth 69.3 billion yuan (US$10 billion) last year. The value surged 35.87 percent from 2015 and was contributed by the growth of the power sector. Nuclear power is encouraged in China to replace thermal power in a bid to clear pollution.
