Sinopec’s H1 profit tumbles

CHINA Petroleum & Chemical Corporation, or Sinopec, posted a 21.6 percent decline in net profit in the first half of the year as the refiner saw a drop in oil and gas output.
Its net profit fell to 19.9 billion yuan in the first six months of this year from 25.4 billion yuan in the same period of last year, Sinopec said.
