Sinopec's target

CHINA Petroleum and Chemical Corp, the nation's second-biggest oil company, aims to boost oil and gas output at its northwestern fields by as much as 67 percent in 2020 compared with 2015 to meet an expected increase in demand. Sinopec, as China Petroleum is known, plans to produce 15 million tons of oil equivalent in 2015 and as much as 25 million tons in 2020, the parent company China Petrochemical Corp said in a statement posted on its Website yesterday.
