SINOPEC is in talks with Australian and Qatar firms for possible liquefied natural gas supply deals, company executives said yesterday.
The company is actively seeking sources of LNG globally, said Su Shulin, chairman of Sinopec. Potential partners included Australia's Santos Ltd.
Sinopec has received initial government approval to build another three LNG terminals in China.
