CHINA Datang Corp, the nation's second-biggest power producer, has received state permission to build a 4.5-billion-yuan (US$659 million) wind farm.
The National Energy Administration approved a proposal to construct a plant to harness power from the wind in the northeastern Jilin Province, the Beijing-based company said yesterday. The plant will have a capacity of 400 megawatts.
