THE Bank of Dalian opened its Shanghai branch yesterday, continuing its nationwide expansion.
It is the first city commercial bank from northeast China to set up a branch in Shanghai.
The lender plans to file an application for a domestic IPO by the end of this year, said Wang Jinping, the bank's president.
The Shanghai branch, on Yan'an Road W. in Changning District, is the lender's sixth branch outside Dalian.
