ZHANG Yujun, former president of Shanghai Stock Exchange, has been promoted as assistant to the chairman of China's securities regulator, the China Securities Regulatory Commission said yesterday. Huang Hongyuan, former deputy president of the stock exchange, has replaced Zhang as the new head, the securities regulator said. Also yesterday, the Shanghai-based China Financial Futures Exchange announced Zhang Shenfeng, a former chief inspector of the CSRC, to replace Zhu Yuchen as president of the exchange. Zhu has been transferred to a post in the Shanghai Municipal Government.
