ORIENT Securities Co has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the state-run Xinhua news agency to jointly form a securities information platform.
The Shanghai-based brokerage will provide securities information to Xinhua's financial information platform to publish on its wire service, Website and mobile phones. Orient Securities now runs 57 branches in 20 cities across the country with a registered capital of 3.29 billion yuan (US$481.98 million).
