CYPRUS' president has cut his salary by a quarter in a show of solidarity with ordinary Cypriots suffering the country's financial crisis.
President Nicos Anastasiades asked the country's accountant-general to make the pay cut, an undersecretary to the president said.
Cabinet ministers have also cut their own wages by 20 percent.
