SBI's priority

THE State Bank of India has said China is one of its top priority markets as it aims to help more Indian companies invest on the Chinese mainland.

The largest commercial bank in India also plans to expand its network in China by opening two more branches in Tianjin and Guangzhou. SBI set up its Shanghai branch in 2006.

"We've helped many Chinese corporations who are doing business in India," Chairman Pratip Chaudhuri said.
