Shares fall for 2nd day
SHANGHAI stocks yesterday fell for a second day amid lingering concerns over tightened supervision.
The Shanghai Composite Index lost 0.45 percent to 3,061.95 points. The tech-heavy startup board ChiNext in Shenzhen closed down 1.7 percent at its lowest level since February 2015. The China Insurance Regulatory Commission said it will prioritize risk control and further enhance supervision of insurance companies.
