CHINA Mobile signed a strategic cooperation deal with Shanghai-based Inesa Group yesterday to tap opportunities arising from the Internet of Things and cloud computing. The IOT technologies will enable both sides to jointly develop smart city applications covering transport, surveillance and e-government in Shanghai. China Mobile considers the IOT market one of the company’s biggest growth engines in the next five years.
