Tailored made insurance for Shanghai Disneyland goers

ZHONG An Online Property & Casualty Insurance Co yesterday launched a product on Ctrip.com that will compensate policy holders if they are hit by rain and high temperature when visiting the Shanghai Disneyland.
Visitors can pay a 25 yuan premium for a one-day coverage and will be compensated 100 yuan if they are caught by a “heavy rain” and compensated 50 yuan if the highest temperature exceed 37 degree Celsius on the day of the visit.
A two-day coverage is sold for 38 yuan.
Compensation will be made automatically if records from Shanghai's weather authority meet the standards.
The policy also includes 200,000 yuan accident insurance and 10,000 yuan medical coverage.
Zhong An said it will create more product for theme park visitors and expand weather-related insurance coverage.
