360Buy will split daily deals businesses
CHINA'S leading online shopping site 360Buy.com said today it will split its daily deals businesses and introduce more third-party vendors to expand products and service on its site.
Its daily deals websites will serve as an independent unit apart from its open platform.
Chief marketing officer Lan Ye is now responsible for the open platform sector.
External partners will offer more shopping coupons and other services for shoppers at 360Buy.
Last year, 360Buy entered into partnerships with a number of external daily deals sites in order to attract more visitors.
It is expected to put more focus on its own general merchandise operations.
