ALIBABA Group yesterday said it will step up anti-corruption efforts by making transactions more open and transparent and clamping down on vendors and staff who indulge in malpractices. Alibaba has appointed former group secretary-general Shao Xiaofeng as the chief risk officer to optimize its management structure as the e-commerce group steps up internal risk control efforts.
