Baidu plans 2 new centers to showcase SMEs
BAIDU Inc this year plans to open at least two more online marketing exhibition and experience centers in Beijing and Guangdong Province this year aimed at potential small and medium-sized customers.
China's largest search engine operator recently launched its third exhibition center in Lujiazui, Shanghai. The 1,500-square-meter center is currently Baidu's largest.
Zhan, vice president of Baidu, said each center attracts about 15,000 visitors every year and has helped business owners have a better understanding of online advertising.
Baidu serves around 300,000 companies to make their services and products better known through its search site and most of them are small and medium-sized enterprises.
