STARTUP smartphone maker OnePlus aims to set up its own eco-system via a new self-developed mobile operating system and to sell more in overseas markets.

Beijing-based OnePlus sold 1.5 million smartphones in the past year since it launched the first model in April last year, including sales in India and the US. It plans to sell 10 million smartphones in near future, said CEO and founder Liu Zuohua.
