Controlling drones
CHINESE drone maker DJI is willing to cooperate with regulators to enhance a recently released national registration system that requires all drone owners to register their product under their real names from June 1, the company said yesterday.
The world’s biggest drone maker has set up so-called “geofencing” regions to forbid drones entering the regions. The company is updating the geofencing regions covering airports and other areas by cooperating with government regulators, including the Civil Aviation Administration of China. DJI is also prepared to offer technology support for the registration system and make all drones “trackable and manageable,” said Shao Jianhuo, vice president of DJI.
