DR plan lacking
MORE than half of Chinese businesses do not have a disaster recovery plan for their information technology and business process systems, according to Regus which provides business flexible workplaces and consulting services.
The lack of a DR plan will hit businesses when natural disasters and their aftermath occur.
About 52 percent of Chinese businesses were found to lack a DR plan to ensure systems are up and running within 24 hours, compared with 45 percent globally, according to Regus which surveyed more than 12,000 business people in 85 countries.
