E-commerce firm signs US$722m deal in CIIE

E-COMMERCE firm Aomaijia signs deals valued at 5 billion yuan (US$722 million) with global brands including JAYJUN Cosmetic, LaCabine and SVR during a China International Import Export event, showing huge market potential of cross-border business in China.
In 2019, China’s cross-border e-commerce trade volume will continue jumping to about 620.3 billion yuan, according to Analysys, a Beijing-based research firm.
With the consumption upgrade wave, Chinese consumers demand high quality and customized products including import goods, analysts said.
