High-tech glitz and devices at CES Asia

LATEST consumer information products and technologies such as smart homes, drones, and virtual reality, took the spotlight at the annual CES Asia in Shanghai.
Huawei launched its latest laptops and tablets while Microsoft talked about its Internet of Things strategy at the event.
Of particular interest was Airselfie, a business card-sized drone developed for selfie fans, which features a battery that can power the drone for a five-minute flight.
The drone also offers consumers super mobility and is easy to use. Airselfie is already selling in overseas markets.
Loock, a Beijing-based startup, showed off its latest smart locks and monitoring system. The system supports fingerprint recognition and is expected to support more biometric measures in 2018.
Loock will start sales of its smart locks and monitoring system in the US market by the end of this year.
La French Tech, an innovation association backed by the French government, led 20 French start-ups involved in virtual reality, Internet of Things, medical technology, smart home and digital entertainment to the CES Asia 2017.
The show, which drew 450 exhibitors, ends today.
