CHINA’S Huawei Technologies’ production of its 100th million smartphone by October marked the brand’s strong performance as the overall smartphone industry grew by just “single digit,” Shanghai Daily learned at the weekend.
In 2016, Huawei aims to sell 140 million phones, a 40-percent growth annually.
Smartphone sales in the US, Western Europe and China all grew by “single digit,” said IDC, a US research firm.
