Innovative products, technologies unveiled at Global Entrepreneurship Week China
LOCAL young entrepreneurs have unveiled a batch of innovative products and new technologies during the Global Entrepreneurship Week China and One Show creative competition this week to implement the "mass innovative and entrepreneurship" national strategy.
Seven intelligent products for household, medical care and transport developed by local startup companies were exhibited for the first time at the entrepreneurship week. They include a cell robot, a sphere-shaped robot that can be assembled into mechanic arms, remote-control vehicles and human-like robot for various requirements.
An intelligent shoes cupboard can sterilize and deodorize the shoes, while a small portable drone can take pictures in the air for tourists and outdoor sports lovers. A hi-tech umbrella designed for seniors can position the users and send alarm to their guardians whenever the seniors fell down or encountered any danger.
A local entrepreneur Zhao Yi showcased a "subway taxi" traffic system designed by his company that is expected to cut the average commuting time of Shanghai by half.
Meanwhile, several innovative applications based on the popular instance communication tool QQ have been unveiled at the One Show creative week in Shanghai.
A QQ Subway application will send messages to other nearby passengers through smart photo when the user is about to get off, so that others can make way in time especially during rush hours.
Tencent has launched a QQ lab application for the public to develop innovative applications based on the instance communication tool, said Li Dan, market general manager with social network business of Tencent.
