JD.COM has partnered with Hong-Kong-listed Chow Tai Fook Jewellery Group to be the jewllery group’s preferred online sales channel.

With the partnership, the jewellery group expects to leverage the data resources and the logistics capability of the online seller, as well as the usage of more modern technologies to allure a digital generation. JD hopes to diversify towards a wider range of products beyond consumer electronics and home appliances. chairman and CEO Liu Qiangdong and Adrian Cheng Chi-kong, executive director of Chow Tai Fook Jewellery Group and founder of K11 and K11 Art Foundation, co-launched the strategic partnership in Shanghai's K11 Mall.
