Microsoft starts offering Windows 10
MICROSOFT Corp started offering Windows 10 upgraded to global users including Chinese consumers, the most important operating system upgrade after it released Windows 8 in 2012, which was not well received.
More than 90 percent of personal computers users are still using Windows system. In China, more than 200 million computers are installed with Windows system.
In China, Windows 7 and Windows 8 users can get free upgrade to Windows 10 through Microsoft website and tools offered by Tencent and Qihoo 360. Other users like who use Windows XP are required to pay for the upgrade.
Windows 10 features Cortana, Microsoft version of Siri, multi-task desktop interface and a new Internet browser.
