Mobile apps are part of daily life
BRAZIL, India and China lead in the number of apps people used daily, research firm App Annie said yesterday, adding that people are using 10 mobile apps a day worldwide on average.
People use about 30 apps on average in a month while they install about 100 applications in their smartphones.
Apple users spend more time on apps, compared with Android users.
In China, people use 11 apps every day on average despite the dominance of WeChat, the report said.
Chinese firms have also developed a foothold in overseas markets in entertainment, social networking, music and video.
Internet giants Tencent with WeChat and Alibaba with Alipay are expanding into overseas markets, covering social, entertainment and mobile payment.
