ORACLE seeks to meet growing market demand in China via a new server processor, cloud-computing services and local chip output, Shanghai Daily learned yesterday.
Oracle released a new processor Sparc M7 in Shanghai with security and encryption services on chip. It will also debut cloud-computing services in China later this year by cooperating with Tencent. The making of processors will “soon” be localized in China, said Oracle.
