A national engineering research center on embedded computer system was recently set up in Putuo District, Shanghai Science and Technology Commission said yesterday.
An embedded system is the key technology behind Internet of Things, smart homes and driverless vehicles, and the system plays a vital role in upgrading manufacturing.
