Sohu gains in Q1

SOHU Inc reported higher-than-expected first-quarter results as income from online game operations boomed.
Profit for the first three months this year rose 3 percent annually to US$48.4 million, the company said in a statement yesterday.
Total revenue climbed 12 percent from the same period last year to US$129.5 million. Online game revenue jumped 17 percent US$72.1 million.
